At KidsNet Learning Center, we offer several programs designed to encourage all children to discover, grow, and explore while laying the foundation for a lifetime of learning.
Our primary focus is meeting each child’s individual needs and fostering their growth. Children are placed in a classroom that best meets their needs and encourages them to develop at their own pace. This establishes self-confidence and healthy growth, which results in a strong, positive self-image.
Our Infant Program is designed specifically for children starting as early as 6 weeks in age, including a separate crib room for quiet and comfortable rest. Our Infant Program is tailored around each child’s individual schedule, with parents and teachers working closely together to develop daily schedules best suited for meeting their academic and developmental needs. Along with lots of hugs, caring staff will provide opportunities to stimulate the five senses through daily activities in the following categories: Language and Dramatic Play, Building and Manipulative, Large Muscle and Music and Sensory. Teacher to child ratio 1:4.
Our Toddler Program is designed for children 1 to 2 years in age. The Toddler classroom is a very large, bright and cheerful setting for little ones beginning to explore the world, including both a changing table and a preschool sized bathroom for those beginning to train. Toddles in this program are provided with opportunities to explore, discover and learn through exposure to a broad academic curriculum and many hands-on experiences. They have their own expansive playground for gross motor development and outdoor fun and games. Teacher to student ratio 1:4 or 1:6 – age dependent.
Our Beginner Program focuses on meeting the needs of 2 and 3 year olds. Teachers in the Beginner Room aim to satisfy the curiosity of children in this age group by planning exciting and engaging hands-on lessons in language arts, math, science, social skills, large and small muscle development, art, music, and dramatic play. Teacher to student ratio 1:6 or 1:10 – age dependent.
Our Preschool and Pre-Kindergarten Programs are designed for 3, 4 and 5 year olds. These developmentally appropriate programs are academically based and include activities in language arts, math, science, social studies, music, art, handwriting, physical education and world languages. Flexible grouping enables all students to develop and excel at an appropriate rate.
This program focuses on kindergarten readiness skills. Fine motor skills are taken further by teaching children to write their name and use correct strokes to form letters of the alphabet. We further expand the skills they have begun to develop in vocabulary and reading basic words. We create intentional learning experiences to expand their critical thinking skills. Children learn how to identify patterns, complete sequences and to follow multiple-step directions. This gives our children the confidence to transition right into elementary school.
Teacher to student ratio 1:10 or 1:12 – age dependent.
